My name is Beth. I live in Scotland and I am a multi-passionate creative. What the heck is a "multi-passionate creative" I hear you cry? Basically, I've never really settled on a creative niche - I like to have my fingers in all the pies - lettering, painting, digital art, graphic design, marbling, embroidery, cross stitch, sea glass jewellery, the list continues to grow! So, I've decided to embrace the variety! Maybe one day I'll settle in one area, but for now I'll keep exploring and keep trying new things.

So, if you love a bit of variety and discovering new things, and you don't mind an eclectic instagram feed, come on in and join the chaos!

✨ Right now, my main aim is staying consistent with working on my business. The last few years I’ve gone through phases where I get stuff done for a few weeks, and then disappear for months on end. At the moment, I’m trying to work on some new illustrations because I’ve not released anything new in a while.

There’s always a never-ending to-do list, but I’m making sure to prioritise setting aside time to illustrate.��

1. I still don’t have it all figured out.

2. Most months, I don’t get any orders on my shop.

3. I don’t run my business full time. I still have a job and I use my spare time to work on it.

4. I still don’t feel like I know what I’m doing. I’m just winging it!

5. Anxiety gets the better of me a lot and I compare myself to others, put myself down and feel like an imposter in the creative world!

Spent the day at the @adobeexpress Marketing Arcade in Glasgow on Wednesday.

It was a last minute decision to go along and I was pretty nervous going to a new place on my own but it was actually a really good day! Chatted to some lovely people and heard some inspiring talks. Also got some headshots with @candidstudios_

Feeling very inspired now for growing my business this year. And looking forward to reading Hannah Isted’s (@hicommunications_ ) book ‘The Best 90 Days Ever’ for some practical tips on marketing my business.

So glad I made the decision to go along!

I’m always looking for ways to be more sustainable with my business. One of the ways I do this is trying to reduce the waste I make.

I hate how much waste is made making my stickers but making these mini stickers helps to reduce that waste, even by just a small amount. And the stickers are super cute! ☺️
